Health Canada

Our products are approved by Health Canada's rigorous review process of product formulations and claims to ensure safety, efficacy and quality.

In Canada, Health Canada regulates dietary supplements as Natural Health Products (NHPs) under a distinct regulatory framework. Regulatory approval is required to sell supplements or natural health products, which is then assigned a license and natural product number ("NPN").

In the US however, dietary supplements face much less stringent regulation compared to Canada, with no premarket approval required and manufacturers are largely responsible for ensuring safety and compliance before products can be sold. The FDA does not review or approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness before they are marketed or sold.

Certified Good Manufacturing Practices ("cGMP")

Our products are made in Canada, at cGMP-certified facilities, which means they must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulations ensuring the consistent production of high-quality and safe products. These facilities are also FDA Registered and Inspected Facilities that follow federal regulations for equipment, safety, and personnel. Some key aspects of a GMP-certified facility include:

• Regulatory Compliance – Follows guidelines set by regulatory agencies such as FDA, Health Canada or WHO
• Hygiene and Safety – Maintains strict cleanliness and sanitation in production areas

Every product is triple-tested for safety, purity and quality.

We work with independent, accredited third-party laboratories to test our supplements for purity, label accuracy, potency, purity, stability, and efficacy. Each product undergoes three rounds of testing, where its contents and ingredients are meticulously checked.

Round 1: Raw Material Testing

All raw materials and components are quarantined at our manufacturing facility and tested for micro and purity requirements. This ensures that each ingredient meets its individual specifications and that there are no contaminants in the raw materials used.

Round 2: In-Process Testing

Each product undergoes testing at multiple points of the production process to ensure it meets our quality standards, and all certification standards of our manufacturers (Health Canada Site License, cGMP, CFIA, NSF International).

Round 3: Third-Party Laboratory — Finished Products & Stability Testing

Before products can be shipped to you, they must undergo third-party testing to confirm the product's ingredient specifications and physical characteristics. This ensures the purity, identity and strength of ingredients and that there are no microbials, heavy metals or contaminants present.

Products also undergo stability testing to ensure that they will maintain the quality and ingredient profile until its expiration date.

Batch Testing

Every batch undergoes all three stages of testing as outlined above, to guarantee that you're getting our standards and assurances consistently across all products.

Each product is designed to be free of questionable ingredients and scrutiny.

While many of these ingredients are deemed safe by FDA and other regulatory bodies when used as directed, they are generally scrutinized for their synthetic nature or origins and potential health impacts.

Our products are free of:

• Artificial or synthetic coloring agents, flavors, sweeteners, additives
• Harmful fillers, stabilizers or flow agents such as: magnesium stearate, magnesium silicate (talc), titanium dioxide, carrageenan, hydrogenated oils, brominated vegetable oils
• Other common ingredients that are are synthetic in nature and offer no nutritional benefit: sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, silicon dioxide, stearic acid, corn starch, maltodextrin, polyethylene glycol
